Wad duhaa
By the morning light
Wal laili iza sajaa
And the night as it settles
Your Lord did not abandon you, nor did He forget
Walal-aakhiratu khairul laka minal-oola
The Hereafter is better for you than the First
Wa la sawfa y'uteeka rabbuka fatarda
And your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied
Alam ya jidka yateeman fa aawaa
Did He not find you orphaned, and sheltered you
Wa wa jadaka daal lan fahada
And found you wandering, and guided you
Wa wa jadaka 'aa-ilan fa aghnaa
And found you in need, and enriched you
Fa am mal yateema fala taqhar
Therefore, do not mistreat the orphan
Wa am mas saa-ila fala tanhar
Nor rebuff the seeker
But proclaim the blessings of your Lord
